Spring has finally sprung! And just like in nature – the new season brings new life – our team too is growing. This Spring our team is welcoming two new members to our family. Please help me in welcoming Todd and Kyle to Valicom! Both Todd and Kyle will be working as Telecom Analysts, assisting our Project Managers in setting up Clearview, gathering and auditing telecom invoices.
About Todd: Todd is originally from California. So what brought him to Madison? Todd’s wife is a Madison-native. They met his in Arizona, but quickly decided the Wisconsin lifestyle was more their preference. In his free time, Todd is a guitarist, singer and songwriter! He has written well over 100 songs. He also enjoys the company of his pets. Todd and his wife have 6 cats and 5 dogs.
About Kyle: Kyle is also a Wisconsin transplant. He is originally from Brooklyn Park, MN but moved to Madison after finishing his BBA at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. Kyle is an avid skateboarder, snowboarder and biker. When the weather is just right, you’ll find him on the lake fishing. He’s also a huge Vikings fan, which we’ll forgive him for…

About Clearview: Clearview is Valicom’s home-grown TEM engine. It’s a subscription web-based tool. Which means you pay for it annually, and have unlimited seats and data capabilities. Have 1,000 telecom team members? No problem.
Clearview was launched for client side use in 2007 and we’ve been refining and improving it ever since. The backbone of Clearview is your telecom inventory, which is built by our Telecom Analysts like Todd and Kyle. Using this inventory data in Clearview – everything else is easily managed, sorted, and reported on.
What’s more, we just added an invoice approval module to Clearview. The module allows you multi-tiered approval functionality. Have invoices that need to be approved at different cost tiers? Invoices approved by managers at each location? This is possible through Clearview’s new invoice approval module. Invoices can be sorted by cost, variance from the previous month, and much more. Invoices that look outrageous can be rejected and are kicked back to Valicom for further investigation and auditing.

About the Author: Nancy Peckham
Nancy began her career in telecommunications in 1983 as an account executive with Republic Telcom, a regional long distance carrier. She was named district sales manager for the Wisconsin region in 1987 when Republic Telcom was acquired by Mid American Communications. She recognized a need for independent, objective telecommunications consulting which led her founding Valicom. Since its launch in 1991, Valicom has been a leader in providing telecom expense management solutions and serves enterprise and mid-market clients in a variety of industries and verticals across the U.S. Nancy earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, founded and served as president of the Telecommunications Professionals of Wisconsin (TPW) from 1989-1992, and was executive vice president on the board of directors of the Society of Telecommunications Consultants (STC). Nancy is also a founding member and executive council chair of the Independent Telecommunications Expense Management Association (i-TEM).
