best practices and best vendor relationships available anywhere. Their experience
and contributions to the industry are significant, but what's more important is
the guidance they can provide to you in your telecom expense management process.

Executive Leaders
Nancy Peckham, CEO
Nancy began her career in telecommunications in 1983 as an account executive with
Republic Telcom, a regional long distance carrier. She was named district sales
manager for the Wisconsin region in 1987 when Republic Telcom was acquired by Mid
American Communications. She recognized a need for independent, objective telecommunications
consulting which led her founding Valicom. Since its launch in 1991, Valicom has
been a leader in providing telecom expense management solutions and serves enterprise
and mid-market clients in a variety of industries and verticals across the U.S.
Nancy earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison,
founded and served as president of the Telecommunications Professionals of Wisconsin
(TPW) from 1989-1992, and was executive vice president on the board of directors
of the Society of Telecommunications Consultants (STC). Nancy is also a founding
member and executive council chair of the Independent Telecommunications Expense
Management Association (i-TEM).
Jeff Poirior, President & COO
Jeff brings 25 years of telecommunications and information technology management
experience in voice and data networking, server support, and telephony and security;
with a significant emphasis on customer service. Prior to joining Valicom, he was
chief of the infrastructure support section for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
Jeff was the vice president of operations for CC&N, overseeing telecommunications,
help desk, data and desk side support services. Prior to that, he served as the
associate director of technical resources for Covance, responsible for managing
systems and network operations supporting 1700 users in Wisconsin and Virginia.
He has also led data center operations at Magnetek Electric, supporting mainframe
systems, client/server applications, telephony systems, and computer-aided design.
Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Cardinal Stritch
University and a master's degree in business administration from University of Phoenix.
In addition, Jeff is a past board member of the Wisconsin Telecommunication Association.

Laurie
Benson
Past CEO of Inacom Information Systems
Laurie led Inacom for over 20 years, growing it from startup to over $70M in sales
and 140 employees across multiple offices. She has served on boards including the
Ingram Micro VTN Advisory Board, Microsoft VAR Leadership Council, and the HP Advisory
Council. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Laurie was inducted
into the Ingram VentureTech Network Hall of Fame.
Gregory
Sliwicki
VP of Sales at Singlewire Software
Greg Sliwicki, former president of Berbee and vice president of sales at CDW, is
Singlewire's executive vice president of sales and marketing. Singlewire Software
will develop and support IP-based voice applications that are designed to detect
incidents within an organization, notify people or systems of such incidents and
activate the necessary systems to resolve the situation. Product features include
enterprise-wide paging, emergency mass notification, remote detection of incidents
on an IP network, and remote control of IP phones for training and support. Greg
has served in various leadership roles over the past 9 years, helping lead company
growth from $20M in revenue to over $500M.Prior to joining Berbee, Greg spent 14
years with IBM Corporation. He earned a degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison
School of Business.
Nathan
Herbst
President, WTS Paradigm
Nathan Herbst grew up in Madison, WI and has been pursuing his entrepreneurial interests
since a young age.Following a few semesters of college, Nathan worked in the IT
departments at companies like TDS and Clues Software. Looking for more experience,
Nathan moved into a consultant role at Cap Gemini/Ernst and Young where he was rapidly
promoted to consulting manager. In 1999 Herbst wanted to start is own company, so
he partnered with Lyn Hartl to form WTS Paradigm, LLC., a software that manages
quotes, orders and production for many of the largest window and door manufacturers
in the industry. Currently serving as partner and president, Herbst has generated
a management team, business strategy, and processes that have helped the company
achieve remarkable performance and success. Despite the recent housing depression,
WTS Paradigm has continued to grow and profit. WTS Paradigm’s vision is to continue
growing and bringing innovation to its market space. Outside of work, Nathan has
a wife and three young boys. He enjoys spending time with the kids, traveling with
family, and teaching his children about science and technology.
